Short story

CCP Words: Andreia Luísa
The year was 2020, a weird year. I gave it a shot by writing a short story for Delta Q Qids, the Delta Q cartoons about the coolest gang ever. I won the first prize and coffee for a year. Magic.

We miss DIY, so we decided to drink and draw a zine about wines. A very productive excuse to go for a drink. Besides tasting, we interviewed local producers, recommended the best “vinhos da casa”, paired wine with music, and even had a launch party.


The first issue was red and all about red wine.

The next issue will be sparkling and it's already in the barrels. Cheers!

I write poems on the notes on my phone and add photos to them.


 

From this one, I made this track with my friend Andy.  My voice and words mixed with his field recordings of Mexican waters.



I then did a photography exhibition. A red string was given to each visitor in order to connect each picture to the corresponding poem.
New connections were made.
